NutriPack Agri Woven Ground Cover provides a strong, clean and practical surface for intensive growing environments.

Its durable woven construction is designed to withstand the demands of commercial production, including regular foot traffic and day-to-day agricultural activity. UV stabilisation provides additional protection against prolonged exposure to sunlight, making the fabric suitable for long-term outdoor installations.

The ground cover can be used beneath substrate growing bags and containers, along crop rows, over prepared ridges, in nurseries, tunnels and greenhouses, and in a variety of other agricultural and landscaping applications.

Choosing the Right Weed Mat

The most suitable ground cover will depend on the crop, production system, expected lifespan, climate, traffic levels, drainage requirements and project budget.

HDPE Woven Ground Cover – Black

Our black HDPE woven ground cover is a strong, durable option developed for demanding commercial agricultural applications.

The woven HDPE construction provides excellent weed suppression while allowing air and water to pass through the fabric. Its strength makes it particularly suitable for long-term installations and high-traffic production environments where durability is important.

It is an excellent choice for blueberry and berry production, nurseries, container-grown crops, orchards and other intensive agricultural applications.

HDPE Woven Ground Cover – Black & White

Our black and white HDPE ground cover combines the strength and durability of woven HDPE with the advantages of a lighter, more reflective surface.

The white-facing surface reflects more incoming solar radiation than conventional black ground cover, helping to reduce heat absorption at surface level while creating a bright, clean production environment.

This option is particularly suited to containerised crops, berry production and other intensive growing systems where growers are looking for the durability of HDPE together with the benefits of a lighter ground-cover surface.

Polypropylene Woven Ground Cover

Our polypropylene woven ground cover provides an economical and practical weed-management solution for a broad range of agricultural and horticultural applications.

Manufactured from UV-stabilised woven polypropylene, it provides effective weed suppression while remaining permeable to water and air. It is lightweight, easy to handle and straightforward to install, making it a versatile option for both permanent and shorter-term production requirements.

It is well suited to nurseries, greenhouses, tunnels, container production, landscaping and general agricultural weed control.

White Reflective Weed Mat

NutriPack Agri White Reflective Weed Mat has been developed for applications where both weed suppression and increased light reflection are desirable.

Its white surface reflects sunlight back into the crop canopy rather than absorbing as much solar energy at ground level. This can improve light distribution within certain crop systems and makes reflective ground cover particularly interesting for orchards, berries and other high-value crops where canopy light management is important.

The woven construction maintains the practical benefits of agricultural ground cover, including weed suppression, permeability and a clean production surface.

Blueberry & Berry Production

NutriPack Agri Woven Ground Cover is particularly well suited to blueberry and other substrate-grown berry production systems, where plants are grown in bags, pots or containers rather than directly in the soil.

Installed beneath the growing containers, the weed mat creates a clean, stable and professional production surface while suppressing weeds between and around the bags.

Its permeable woven structure allows excess irrigation water and rainfall to drain through the ground cover, helping reduce standing water around the containers. At the same time, the durable surface makes routine crop management, harvesting and movement through the production area easier and cleaner.

For large-scale berry developments, ground cover can also assist with consistent positioning and alignment of growing bags, particularly when fabrics incorporating grid or guidelines are used.

Trees & Landscaping

At the larger end of the range, NutriPack Agri Woven Planter Bags are available in capacities of up to 2,500 litres, providing a practical growing solution for large shrubs, trees and substantial landscaping specimens.

The broad size range allows growers and landscapers to select a growing volume appropriate to the plant rather than being restricted to conventional rigid container sizes.

Commercial Fruit & Berry Production

NutriPack Agri Woven Planter Bags are particularly well suited to commercial berry and fruit production systems where crops are grown in containers using professional substrates.

Container production allows growers to select and manage a specific growing medium independently of the native soil, while the planter bag provides the structure, drainage and aeration required to support the production system.

The combination of woven fabric and customisable drainage holes allows the bag specification to be matched more closely to the grower’s substrate, irrigation strategy and crop requirements.

This makes the bags particularly suitable for crops such as blueberries and other substrate-grown berry crops, as well as a variety of other high-value commercial fruit crops.
